Blue Jays manager John Schneider takes shot at bullpen during press conference

The Blue Jays took on the Astros yesterday and it was a tight game until the 7th inning when the Jays bullpen lost the game for them.
Yusei Kikuchi was on the mound for the Blue Jays and had a great game, pitching 5.2 innings while only giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits and striking out 5 batters. Zach Pop then came in giving up 2 runs on 2 hits followed by Bowden Francis who gave up 3 runs on 3 hits.
Manager John Schneider spoke to the media after the game stating the bullpen completely let Kikuchi down after he pitched a great game and they were unable to make big pitches and get outs.
John Schneider said that Yusei Kikuchi deserved better than that result, adding that the #BlueJays relievers «need to come up big, make some big pitches and get the outs.»
«It sucks that the game went that way after Yusei pitched really well.»
This seems to be a recurring story this season as the Blue Jays starters have been let down by the bullpen on multiple occasions.
