The MLB trade deadline is rapidly approaching and it seems like it is on everyone's mind according to pitcher Yusei Kikuchi.

Kikuchi is in the last year of his deal and has been linked to many trade rumors this season. The Blue Jays pitcher spoke to reporters about the deadline saying that it is tough to go out there and play with mixed feelings since players do not know if they will still be there tomorrow.

Yusei Kikuchi (via Yusuke Oshima) on season, deadline:

«It's probably a difficult time for all of us. Not just the position players, but myself included, going out there with mixed feelings. You just don't know what's going to happen. It's a difficult time right now.» #BlueJays

While the Blue Jays could probably get a solid return for Kikuchi, he has been one of their most consistent pitchers this season and they could benefit immensely from re-signing him.
