MLB insider Dan Plesac praises the Blue Jays stating that they could win the American League East
The Blue Jays have been able to put a really good team together so far this off-season despite a few mistakes and as they currently have the best record in
the Grapefruit League, people are starting to wonder if they can win the AL East.
MLB insider Dan
Pleasac recently said on the MLB network that the Blue Jays might actually be a sleeper pick to win the AL East since they were last in 2024 but have made some significant changes to turn things around.
Will the Blue Jays make some noise in the AL East this season?
While finishing in the top spot in the Spring Training does not mean much, it does for the Blue Jays because they look like a completely different team out there than they did last year.
There seems to be a lot more passion on the field and players seem to actually be having fun, plus there's the fact that they added a ton of skilled players such as
Max Scherzer,
Anthony Santander and
Jeff Hoffman.
Fans are excited for the season to finally get going to see how this groups ends up performing together but so far it has looked really good apart from a few unfortunate injuries.
As Pleasac said, the Blue Jays could end up surprising a lot of people this season including their own fanbase with the way they are currently playing.
Even if they do not win the AL East, they could still make a massive jump from last season and do some damage in the playoffs.
