John Schneider watched his team lose yet another game on Saturday. It was the Toronto Blue Jays' second loss in a row to the Tampa Bay Rays, who had yet another solid day of offense. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays bats continued to struggle.

After winning their Opening Day matchup by a score of 8-2, Blue Jays fans thought the team would breeze by the Rays. However, that has not been the case over the past two matches. Players like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette have struggled at the plate. While George Springer had a second home run in as many games a couple of matches ago, he went cold on Saturday as well.
"No fun in that: Dormant Blue Jays attack has no support for starter Yusei Kikuchi"
While speaking to reporters after Saturday's game, Schneider acknowledged some of the issues the Blue Jays have been dealing with. However, he also noted that a lot of it has to do with just how astute the Rays pitching staff is. Going into the fourth and final game of their series with the Rays, Schneider is confident that his team can bounce back.
"It was tough. (The Rays) can pitch, you know, so it's tough to string some hits together. Give credit to them for making good pitches and then you move on to (Sunday)."

If you want to watch the Blue Jays take on the Rays today, you will be able to do so as of 1:40 PM Eastern Standard Time. After this match, the Blue Jays will be headed to Houston for a three-game series against the Astros. From there, they will play the Yankees in New York, later in the week.
