John Schneider gives worrying injury update on Joey Loperfido

The Blue Jays acquired Joey Loperdifo in a trade from Houston at the trade deadline and he started off his stint in Toronto struggling but has since turned it around.
Unfortunately, yesterday against the Red Sox, Loperfido tracked down a fly ball in left field running into the wall and hitting his head quite hard.
Manager John Schneider told reporters after the game that Loperfido is being evaluated and they need to run more tests which is certainly not a good sign.

Hopefully his head injury is not too bad and he will not miss too much time but if he is concussed he might be out for at least a few weeks.
