The Toronto Blue Jays are off to a slow start with a struggling bullpen and offensive woes. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been on fire lately, breaking a home run drought and showing promising stats. The team needs to improve hitting with
Guerrero Jr has been on fire, he has a 8-game hitting streak and launched a grand-slam on Sunday to break a 21 game homerless drought. In the last 8, he is hitting an impressive .344/.400/.531.
DO NOT LET VLADIMIR GUERRERO JR. GET HOT
Vladdy's hard-hit rate this season, standing at 54.9%, places him in the 96th percentile which is impressive, this figure is only slightly below his career peak of 55.2%, which he was able to attain during the 2021 season.
His bat is clearly trending in the right direction, where in his recent 8-game streak, he's recorded six barrels (hard hit balls). In comparison, in his preceding 27 games, he had only managed seven.
Maybe patience was just what the doctor ordered because it seems like Vlad is back to his old self.
