Blue Jay fans are pissed with how yesterday went after management decided to announce two new signings that won't help the team's recent struggles.
The team signed reliever Aaron Sanchez to a minor league deal while also signing Beau Sulser to a minor league deal as well.
Fans are upset with the acquisition since the Blue Jays need help, as their relivers have been struggling immensely yet management decided to go sign two pitchers at the end of their careers to minor league deals.
#BlueJays also ready to sign 66-year old RHP Dave Stieb to minor league deal, per source Camie Jampbell. "His overall numbers are very impressive" - rumoured quote from Jays analytics staff.
Sanchez was an All-Star in 2016. Sanchez had a standout season in 2016, where he racked up a15-2 record in 30 starts with a 3.00 ERA, 1.17 WHIP over 192 innings but is far from the same pitcher.
Sulser finally gained MLB experience in the 2022 season, posting a 3.63 ERA over 22 1/3 innings with the Pirates and Orioles which is far from incredible numbers.
It is understandable that fans are upset after the Blue Jays need a big change to turn things around which management decided that two minor league deals would help.
