The Blue Jays season has gone far from planned and has been an all around disappointment but it seems there might be a silver lining after all.
Toronto currently has the 6th best odds at landing the 1st overall pick in the 2025 MLB draft. If the Blue Jays lose today and the Rangers win, Toronto's odds at the landing the 1st pick with go from 5.31% to 7.48%.
The Blue Jays have 6th best odds to get the first overall pick in 2025.
If the Blue Jays lose and Rangers win today, the Blue Jays will (currently) increase their odds from 5.31% to 7.48%.
Ethan Holliday is projected to go number 1 overall
The Blue Jays have landed multiple 2nd overall picks in there history but have never gotten their hands on number one which is supposed to be Ethan Holliday in 2025, brother of Jackson Holliday and son of hall of famer Matt Holliday.
