Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher signs with the New York Mets

The New York Mets announced early this morning that they have agree to terms with former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Connor Overton on a deal for the 2025 season.
The Blue Jays have had quite a disappointing off-season as they were able to sign multiple solid players but failed when it came to the players they really wanted but some of their former players found success this off-season signing all kinds of new deals.
Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Connor Overton has apparently agreed to a minor league deal with the New York Mets which will likely also include a major league Spring Training invitation.

Overton had a 4.85 ERA in 59 MLB innings from 2021-2023. He has experience as SP/RP.

Overton spent the had an an ERA of 4.85 between 2021 - 2023 but last season spent the entire year in the minors as he missed a lot of games due to an ongoing ACL injury.

Overton's time with the Blue Jays was very short as they signed him to aminor league deal in 2021 but by early September they DFA'd him in which the Pittsburgh Pirates end up claiming him off waivers.
