According to MLB insider Mark Feinsand, Hernandez is seeking a 3 year contract with an annual value of $22-$24 million per season meaning the contract will be anywhere between $66- $75 million.

When looking at the numbers Hernandez put up last season with a career high 33 homeruns along with 99 RBIs, .272 batting average and .339 on base percentage, it is clear he is worth the money.
Hernandez would be a perfect fit for the Blue Jays as they are in need of bringing in an offensive threat for next season to pair with Vladimir Guerrero Jr and could also benefit from having another outfielder.
Hopefully the Blue Jays are able to outbid the Dodgers as it looks like that will be the only way they land Hernandez.
