The Toronto Blue Jays seem to have a lot of off-season plans but none more important than improving their bullpen after the awful season they had.
The Blue Jays bullpen cost them a lot of games this year as they had once of the worst collective ERAs in the majors which cost them many games throughout the 2024 season.
Former Blue Jay and current insider Kevin Barker stated that he has been asking questions around the organization as to what the plan is regarding relief pitchers this off-season and it looks like Toronto will be aiming to bring in 4 relievers during the winter.
"I've asked around multiple times about how many [bullpen] arms this team needs to add this winter and I've gotten the same answer each time. It's 4."

If the Blue Jays do end up bringing in that many new arms into the bullpen for next season, it will be interesting to see who makes the cut and who is shipped away from their current rotation.
Some fans have voiced their opinion on who should stay on the Blue Jays bullpen next season as not all pitchers have been bad just some have been terrible which brings down the entire bullpens average.
Green, Romano, Swanson, Genesis are locks. Dillon Tate, Yarbrough, Little are question marks.
While some might see Jordan Romano as a lock for next season, with his injuries in the past few years, there is always a chance the Blue Jays decide to replace him and//or trade him.
Nothing less than 4. Tigers, Padres, Guardians have proved that a lights out bullpen is needed for playoff success
