The Toronto Blue Jays announced two surprising roster moves prior to their two finals games of the season involving pitchers Easton Lucas and Nick Robertson.
The Blue Jays have been all over the waiver wire this season especially when it comes to pitchers as they acquired Robertson from the Los Angeles Angels on September 17th and sent him to Triple-A.
Toronto announced this morning that they have decided to give Robertson a shot the majors before the season wraps up as he will be available as of today and will be wearing number 52 for the Blue Jays.
As the Blue Jays brought up Robertson, they decided to send pitcher Easton Lucas to the Florida Spring League Blue Jays as they hope he will work on his game some more before Spring Training.

LHP Easton Lucas optioned to the Spring Training Complex
Fans do not seem to have high hopes for Lucas as they see being sent to the Florida Spring League as the end even though there is still some hope for players if they are able to perform.
Whenever someone gets sent to the Spring Training Complex I imagine them being frozen in carbonite and stored in a locker.
People were also quick to continue the joke that this is the second Nick Robertson playing for a Toronto organization after the Toronto Maple Leafs signed Jason Robertson brother, Nick, to a deal this off-season.
