Davis Schneider was a weird exclusion from the Toronto Blue Jays lineup on Wednesday night, but on Friday, he will get to start against the New York Yankees.

Just a couple of games ago, Schneider had a game-winning home run against the Houston Astros. It was an incredible play that saved the Jays from three-straight shutout losses. However, in the following match, John Schneider took him out of the lineup. It was pretty ridiculous, and fans were not having it whatsoever.
However, according to the Blue Jays Twitter account, Davis Schneider will be back in today. This is absolutely huge, and Blue Jays fans are definitely breathing a sigh of relief right now.
"Our final stop before home: The Bronx!"
According to Jays Journal, Manager John Schneider has been dismissive of the team's offensive problems. In fact, he said the recent no-hitter was an "outlier." However, some fans don't agree and are calling for him to be fired.
""Give [Blanco] credit, that's really hard to do. A no-hitter's an outlier, you know? I think we're going all right with where we hope to be in terms of what the offence is supposed to do. Tonight, it's just one of those nights. You give credit to a guy that does something really, really hard to accomplish. And a loss is still a loss."

If you want to watch today's game, you will be able to do so as of 1 PM Eastern Standard Time. In Canada, the game will be available on Sportsnet.
