Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough is set to receive a World Series ring as he was part of the Los Angeles Dodgers until the trade deadline when he was moved from Kevin Kiermaier.

The Dodgers traded pitcher Ryan Yarbrough at the MLB trade deadline to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for outfielder Kevin Kiermaier as Toronto hoped he could final win a World Series before retiring at the end of the season.

Yarbrough pitched 67.1 innings for the Dodgers this season and due to his efforts which helped the Dodgers during the season, he will be receiving a World Series ring despite long longer being on the team.
While there had to have been a number of emotions for him yesterday, reliever Ryan Yarbrough will get a World Series ring following last night's result. The 32-year-old pitched 67.1 innings with the Dodgers this season before being traded to the Blue Jays in exchange for Kevin Kiermaier. -Pankiw

In a recent interview, Yarbrough spoke of how he was rooting for the Dodgers in the playoffs since he made a ton of friends there during his four months with the team and was likely happy to see them win.
«You're a part of the team for four months, so I'll definitely be proud of it. I'll definitely be cheering them on,» Yarbrough said. «Hopefully they do really well. I made a lot of friends, a lot of great connections with being there for the last year. Will it be a little weird watching them in playoffs? Probably, just because that was something you were a part of. But at the same time, I'll be rooting for them, cheering for them, and wanting them to be successful.»

Yarbrough is set to become a free agent this winter and will likely get a solid deal after posting a 3.19 ERA in 98.2 innings pitched in 2024.
