The Blue Jays had a terrible 8-4 loss yesterday against the Athletics in Toronto to close out the series and pitcher Chris Bassitt had a tough outing as well.
Chris Bassitt spoke to the media after the game stating that the reason for his poor performance seem to have been the Rogers Centre roof. Bassitt claims the roof being closed affected his pitching.
While this is a strange reasoning, it is possible that it affected his pitches last night as he gave up 7 earned runs on 8 hits in 4 innings pitched while striking out 5 batters.
