Today, the Toronto Blue Jays will take on the New York Yankees, and that has brought about decisions on Wes Parsons and Paolo Espino.

Overall, Friday marks an important game for the Toronto Blue Jays. It should prove to be an interesting one, as they will take on the New York Yankees in the Bronx. Yusei Kikuchi will be getting the start, and Davis Schneider will be back in the lineup. Considering all of the issues that the team has had in regards to its offense, you would think that this would be a great lineup move.
As far as their pitching is considered, some key moves were announced by the Toronto Blue Jays, and they involve pitchers Paolo Espino and Wes Parsons. Essentially, Parsons has been taken out of the lineup and is now on assignment. Meanwhile, Espino is being brought up from the Minors and will be active today.
"ROSTER MOVES: RHP Paolo Espino has been selected to the Major League roster and will be active for today's game. RHP Wes Parsons designated for assignment."
According to Baseball Reference, Espino has spent the last few years with the Washington Nationals organization. However, he is now looking to make it with the Blue Jays. Only time will tell whether or not he can make an impact with this squad.
For those of you who are looking to watch the game, you will be able to do so over on Sportsnet. This game will be starting at 1 PM Eastern Standard Time.
