Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman has decided to make some big changes to his game following a rough start to the season.
Gausman admitted he should have began the season on IL but decided to rush back and it was apparent in his game. It seems like Gausman has turned a page recently as he is pitching a lot better which was clear in his last appearance against the mariners.
The Blue Jays pitcher stated after the game that his pitching mechanics were different in the last game which is something he ahs been working on, he added that he has been trying to get back to the same way he was pitching during the 2021 season.
«I definitely had a bit of a different delivery today, and that was by design,» Gausman said. «It's something we're trying to get back to what I was doing in 2021. I think it will allow me to be around the zone a little bit more.»

Clearly the changes worked at Gausman went on to have a great game, pitching for 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 10 batters.
