Blue Jays pitcher Jose Berrios recently sat down with Sportsnet's Donovan Bennett to discuss his news foundation with Jays Care.
Berrios has the La Makina Foundation in which helps underprivileged children in his home country of Puerto Rico achieve their goals of playing baseball despite not having the resources for it.
La Makina Foundation has now teamed up with Jays Care to start El Dream which will have the same goal but for children in the Toronto area.
An impact bigger than baseball.

Not only is putting in place both of these foundations proof of how great a person Berrios is, he has also agreed to donate $500 for every strikeout he has during the 2024 season. He will also be donating a bunch of signed memorabilia that will go up for auction and will host multiple fundraisers throughout the season.
