On Tuesday night, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Seattle Mariners by a score of 5-3 in a game that very much mirrored their 5-2 win from the night before.

Last night, it was all about Jose Berrios, who was absolutely sensational. On Tuesday, however, it was pitcher Chris Bassitt who carried the load. According to MLB Stats, he only gave up one run and five hits in just under seven innings of play. Furthermore, Bassitt added eight strikeouts, which was a massive feat.
As for the Blue Jays' bats, they got two RBI from both George Springer and Bo Bichette, who hit his first home run of the entire season. Perhaps the best player in the match, however, was Isiah Kiner-Falefa who had three hits on four at-bats. He had been struggling mightily this season, and needed the confidence boost.

With this win, the Blue Jays have improved to a record of 6-6 on the season. Meanwhile, the Mariners have fallen to an abysmal 4-8. Ultimately, this is not what fans of the Mariners were hoping for. However, for the Blue Jays, this is their first win streak of the season, as they finally have some consistent offense from their bats.
Today, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners will be back in action at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time. Overall, this is a match that will give the Blue Jays an opportunity to get three wins in a row. If you are in Canada, you can watch the game over on Sportsnet.
