The Toronto Blue Jays are all in on trying to land free agent pitcher Corbin Burnes and after it being reported that they have the highest offer on the table, the number has finally been announced.

The Blue Jays have been linked to Burnes ever since they missed out on signing Juan Soto a few weeks ago and despite being very interested, they have yet to land him.

The Blue Jays offer to Corbin Burnes has been announced

News broke last week that the Blue Jays have the highest offer on the table for free agent Corbin Burnes but he has been holding out in hopes of his hometown team the San Francisco Giants raising their offer.
According to a recent report, the Blue Jays that has them ahead of everyone else right now is an offer in the mid $200 million meaning around $250 million over 7 years which will pay him an average salary of $35 million per season.
Blue Jays seem to be throwing around some cash for someone to take this winter - rumors of a massive offer to Burnes in the mid 200'/7 yearish - and making an impactful push for Teoscar Hernandez.

The Blue Jays have also shown a strong interest in Cardinals Closer Ryan Helsley and SP Steven Matz (reunion) who I'm told they would view as rotational depth -

Unsure of where those moves would stand together of their overall offseason goes.
MLB insider Mark Feinsand also stated that Burnes is looking for $245 million which seems to be exactly where the Blue Jays are sitting at with their current offer.
Clearly Burnes is not a fan of where the Blue Jays are currently at as an organization which is what is holding him back from signing the deal.
The good news is that they will likely land him regardless of that if no one else raises their offer.
