Vladimir Guerrero Jr has opened up quite a bit regarding his negotiations in the past two days and the latest is that he told the Toronto Blue Jays front office the exact number he will sign for.
Guerrero was on a podcast in the Dominican Republic a couple days ago which is when he opened up for the first time regarding his contract negotiations and where they are currently at.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr has told the Blue Jays the exact number he would sign for
Since Guerrero's interview was in Spanish it seems like more and more information is coming out by the day as people continue to translate it and the latest has to do with the number he would sign for.
Guerrero stated that the Blue Jays front office know exactly the number that he would sign for and that if he gets it he is ready to sign on the spot which has many wondering why they haven't made the offer yet.
Vladdy said in this interview he has given the Toronto Blue Jays Front Office the exact number he would sign for.
If they (Ross, and Mark) give Vladdy that number, he will sign on the spot.
Clearly Ross Atkins is lost if he still believes that he will be able to negotiate Guerrero down to a smaller number as he has stated the number he wants and has now even given them a deadline on up until when he is willing to receive that.
Clearly if Atkins does not hit that number by the first day of Spring Training fans have to get ready for the Blue Jays to trade Guerrero as it would make no sense to hold him until free agency to lose him for nothing.
