Toronto Blue Jays all-star pitcher Kevin Gausman was interviewed by the Toronto Sun this weekend and opened up about what he feels the front office should do this winter.

Gausman signed a massive deal back in 2021 with the Blue Jays as he felt like they had a promising team that could compete year in and year out for a World Series but has been quite disappointed since arriving.
The Blue Jays have failed to do anything remarkable since Gausman has arrived as they either did not make the playoffs like this year or were bounced in the Wild Card round.
The Blue Jays pitcher told the Toronto Sun that he is sick of all the talk about winning but it never happening. He pointed out that the team has a ton of talent but they need to start winning as players such as himself, Chris Bassitt and others are getting older.
«I'm sick of the talent' talk,» Gausman said in an interview with the Toronto Sun this weekend, a cardboard packing box filling up beside his clubhouse locker. «We're so talented, this and that. We've got to start winning games. We've got to figure it out. We've got to do it quickly. I'm only getting older. (Fellow starter Chris) Bassitt is only getting older. If we want it to happen with this group, it has to happen soon. So what are we going to do?»

Gausman was quick to point out at the end of the interview that the Blue Jays need to bring in veteran players that could make a difference as their team in currently filled with only young players without any experience.
«Time will tell,» Gausman said. «Obviously we'll see what the front office does. Listen, we need some veteran players, no doubt about that.
