Blue Jays pitcher Yimi Garcia has been out for the past few weeks with an elbow injury on his pitching arm.
Manager John Schneider told reporters yesterday that Garcia took the mound yesterday and had no pain or problems. Apparently Garcia will take the mound again Wednesday before they decide on the next step of his recovery.
Yimi Garcia threw off a mound without issue yesterday, said John Schneider. He'll do it again Wednesday before next steps are decided.
Ricky Tiedemann's next outing is Wednesday in Florida.
This is great news for the Blue Jays as Jordan Romano was shut down again a few days ago due to still feeling pain and the Jays bullpen has been struggling immensely lately.
