Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has been out since the end of July with a right calf sprain for the second time this season.
Bichette's recovery has been a slow process as the injury seems to be worse than originally assumed. manager John Schneider gave an update yesterday on Bichette stating that he has already begun doing some hitting and throwing drills, the next step is for him to begin running in the next 2-3 days.
The #BlueJays expect Bo Bichette (calf) to start running in the next 2-3 days, John Schneider says. He's already doing some hitting and defensive drills in Dunedin.
While Bichette's recovery continues to progress, there has still be no word as to if he will come back and play this season or if he will use his time to properly recover for next year.
