The Toronto Blue Jays need to make something happen after a terrible past 24 hours and it looks like a possible trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers for Bo Bichette is a possibility.
An offer between the Blue Jays and Dodgers for Bo Bichette seems like a possibility
The Blue Jays have been rumored to be listening to offers regarding shortstop Bo Bichette which now seems to be their only case at landing some solid players this off-season.
According to reports, the Dodgers are very interested in acquiring a shortstop this off-season and Bichette would be a perfect fit after they missed out on Willy Adames earlier this off-season.
Los Angeles was rumored to be in on shortstop Willy Adames before he signed with the rival San Francisco Giants. Now, the Dodgers could pivot to swinging a blockbuster trade for 26-year-old Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette. -Pressnell
According to reports, the deal would see Bichette head over to Los Angeles in exchange for a package centered around 25 year old pitcher Bobby Miller who had a rough 2024 season.
For the Blue Jays, the goal would be trading him before his value drops any lower. They would be able to land a package from the Dodgers likely centered around another reclamation project: Bobby Miller.
Miller was excellent in 2023 but un-pitchable in 2024. A deal sending Miller plus prospects to Toronto isn't outside the realm of possibility just yet. -Pressnell
Despite the disaster in 2024, Miller did put up great numbers during his rookie campaign with a 3.76 ERA in 124.1 innings pitched which does he mean he could be a solid pitcher in the MLB.
