Alex Anthopoulos has been putting Ross Atkins to shame
Number often don't lie and when you look and the difference between Ross Atkins and Alex Anthopoulos, the numbers prove how much better the former Jays GM has been.
Since leaving Toronto for Atlanta, Anthopoulos has been a incredible GM helping the Braves win the 2021 Word Series while also posting a 544-373 record since arriving there. Atkins on the other hand has struggled to stay over a .500 winning percentage while the Jays have yet to win a playoff series since 2016.
Alex Anthopoulos with the Atlanta Braves: 544-373 (.593) winning six consecutive National League East division crowns and the 2021 World Series championship.
Ross Atkins with the Toronto Blue Jays: 632-613 (.508) with zero playoff victories since 2016.
When looking at the numbers, it is hard to justify why the Jays let Anthopoulos walk while they choosing to go with Atkins instead.
