Blue Jays teammates let down Jose Berrios
The Blue Jays took on the Tigers yesterday in hopes of bouncing back from a 6-2 loss.
Once again, despite solid pitching, the Jays offense was nowhere to be found as they lost 2-1 to Detroit.
Jose Berrios was on the mound for Toronto and had a solid performance giving up only 2 runs on 7 hits and striking out 5 batters yet was unable to get the win.
Jose Berrios (7.0 IP, 2 R, 7 H, 5 K) was handed the loss for the Blue Jays.

This has been the case one too many times this season where the Blue Jays are unable to get the win despite their pitchers have solid performances.
Even though the offense has had moments of brilliance, the inconsistency is what has been stopping them from winning more games as we have seen them just in this series alone put up 9 runs in game then struggle to just get 1 hit in another.
