Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announces injury update on Shohei Ohtani

The Los Angeles Dodgers won game 2 of the World Series last but things took a nasty turn in the 7th innings when Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani tried to steal 2nd base and ended up hurting his left shoulder when going down for the slide.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts gave an update after last night's game stating that Ohtani suffered a left shoulder subluxation during the slide and will continue to undergo more tests tomorrow. He added that he was happy with the first tests done as Ohtani showed positive signs after the game last night.

While Roberts is encouraged by how Ohtani's first line of tests went last night, he seemed to be in a ton of pain last night leaving the field which has many believing that he might be done for the series.

This is a massive loss for the Dodgers but with a 2-0 lead in the World Series and a lineup full of incredible players such as Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and others, even if Ohtani does not make it back into the series, the Yankees have a very tough task ahead.
