Los Angeles Dodger manager Dave Roberts have announced an injury update on superstar Shohei Ohtani after leaving game 2 of the World Series due to a shoulder injury.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts gives injury update on Shohei Ohtani
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts gave an update after last night's game stating that Ohtani suffered a left shoulder subluxation during the slide and will continue to undergo more tests tomorrow. He added that he was happy with the first tests done as Ohtani showed positive signs after the game last night.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says Shohei Ohtani suffered a left shoulder subluxation. Ohtani will go for further tests (MRI) but Roberts said he's encouraged by initial strength tests being «great» and range of motion being good.
While Roberts is encouraged by how Ohtani's first line of tests went last night, he seemed to be in a ton of pain last night leaving the field which has many believing that he might be done for the series.
This is a massive loss for the Dodgers but with a 2-0 lead in the World Series and a lineup full of incredible players such as Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and others, even if Ohtani does not make it back into the series, the Yankees have a very tough task ahead.
