Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk stuns fans with first-ever career triple
In stunning fashion, Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk records his very first career triple as he drives Spencer Horwitz.
The Blue Jays were down 3-1 against the Tampa Bay Rays in the 7th inning but Alejandro Kirk was able to record his first career triple to drive home Horwitz to cut the lead down to 3-2.
🚨 CAPTAIN KIRK FIRST CAREER TRIPLE 🚨
Unfortunately, it was not enough to spark a rally as the Blue Jays ended up losing the game 3-2. It is known that Kirk is not the fastest guy out on the field and does most of his work behind the plate, so it is a pretty bug accomplishment for the 25-year-old.
Congratulations Captain Kirk!
