The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they have agreed to terms with one of their former pitcher, as they have signed Washington Nationals pitcher Jacob Barnes.
This is the second deal the Blue Jays have signed since the start of Spring Training as they signed Amir Garrett to a minor league deal last night which also includes a Spring Training invitation.

Barnes played for he Blue Jays back in 2021 after being acquired from the Mets but only lasted until the end of the season when he elected free agency and signed with the Detroit Tigers.
The newest Blue Jays addition is coming off a decent year with the Washington Nationals as he finished with a 4.36 ERA with 55 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched in 2024.
This is a solid low risk addition for the Blue Jays bullpen as he could end up surprising a lot of people.
