The Toronto Blue Jays announce when pitcher Kevin Gausman will finally make his debut

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman has yet to play in the Grapefruit League so far in 2025 and the team finally announced when he will make his debut.
Gausman seems to be taking his time this off-season getting into game shape as he felt that last season he rushed back from an injury and dealt with ball command issues all season which he wants to avoid this year.

The Blue Jays have announced their starting pitchers for this week's game and it looks like fans will finally see Gausman on the mound against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday.

Tuesday: off day
Wednesday: Gausman
Thursday: Bassitt
Friday: Yariel Rodriguez

The team announced that Jose Berrios will be on the mound for Mondays game against the Detroit Tigers, followed by a day off on Wednesday then Gausman on the mound Wednesday.
In a recent interview, Gausman stated that he is feeling much better and confident about how is is pitching right now and seems excited to get things going according to MLB reporter Hazel Mae.
Kevin Gausman threw 30 pitches in his live BP today. Expects to get into games next week.

After how last season went, it will be interesting to see how Gausman does to start off the 2025 season since it was a rough beginning in 2024.
