Toronto Blue Jays rookie Alan Roden's time in Toronto might be coming to an end
The Toronto Blue Jays cannot wait to have Daulton Varsho back in the lineup but unfortunately that might mean that Alan Roden will be headed back down to the minors.
In non-Scherzer related news:
*Erik Swanson is going to get off a mound Fri.
*Daulton Varsho hit live BP today and played catch after throwing from 150 ft yesterday. Hope is by the middle of this month, Varsho will be able to throw from the OF.

The Blue Jays might be sending rookie Alan Roden back to the minors
Roden was on fire in Spring Training and continued to produce offensively this season as he has a .313 batting average with 5 hits and 2 RBIs in 6 of the 7 games this season.
has anyone looked at alan roden's projections for this season?
Since Varsho is set to return to the lineup shortly this means that
Roden will either begin to ride the bench a lot more or that they will send him down to the minors so that he can get more playing time.
Many new this was coming when he first made the team but most thought that the Blue Jays might move George Springer to keep Roden but Springer has been on fire to start the season which means it will likely be Roden that is moved.
Hopefully the Blue Jays keep Roden in the majors but it would make sense to send him down since he would get much more playing time.
It will be interesting to see what they end up doing once Varsho is ready to return to the field.
