The Blue Jays have clearly struggled this season at the plate with the exception of Vladimir Guerrero.

While it is not all the coaches fault, it might be time for the Blue Jays to look at a new hitting coach for next season. While this season's outcome is far from Guillermo Martinez' fault, changing things up might help.
A fan pointed out online that possibly hiring Joey Votto as the hitting coach next season might not be such a bad idea.
I have the perfect solution to be able to see Joey Votto at every game next year wearing a Toronto Blue Jays uniform. 2025 batting coach. It has a nice ring.

Votto has an amazing career and is regraded as one of the best Canadian baseball players of all-time with a hall of fame career, since he is also a Toronto native, this might be the perfect situation.
