The Blue Jays took on the Mets yesterday in a disappointing 3-2 loss in Toronto but the big story comes from the ceremonial first pitch with Spencer Horwitz.
Horwitz comes from a Jewish family and has even represented Israel at international baseball tournaments and took part in a incredible first pitch ceremony yesterday. The Blue Jays had 97 year old Holocaust survivor Irene Kurtz throw out the ceremonial first pitch to Horwitz.
