By now, it's clear that the Blue Jays have a questionable approach to decision-making, whether it's regarding in-game strategies or roster moves on a game-to-game basis.

Davis Schneider sits, Blue Jays bats snooze (again) in meek loss to Astros

Davis Schneider was the hero in with a timely and emotional two-run homer, but with no surprise, he was then relegated to the bench. The Blue Jays experienced a lackluster defeat, bringing their season record to 3-4 after losing two out of three games against the Houston Astros.
These defeats have been notably dismal, marked by their lack of competitiveness and one-sided outcomes. Throughout these matchups, the Blue Jays found themselves thoroughly and embarrassingly outscored, with a combined scoreline of 31-3.
Blue Jays Manager John Schneider opted not to include Davis Schneider in yesterday's lineup, citing reasons that were both expected and understandable, but clearly, not endorsed by fans. While recognizing Davis Schneider's abilities, it's acknowledged that his defensive reliability may be questionable at times, but, when a team is struggling at the plate and can't generate any offense, you need to spark the lineup with a hitter like Davis Schneider. These decisions don't make sense, but when do they ever.
The series in Houston was a total offensive disaster, as the Jays scored runs in just 1 of the 27 innings in the series. Is John Schnieder to blame for setting up the team for failure or are the stars just not stepping up to the plate (pun intended).
