The Toronto Blue Jays seem to have some serious interest in moving shortstop Bo Bichette and it looks like the San Francisco Giants are very interested in the shortstop.

The Giants are looking to add some hitting and pitching to their roster for the 2025 season as they hope to return to the playoffs next season which is what has them linked to Orioles pitcher Corbin Burnes and Blue Jays Bo Bichette.

San Francisco Giants interested in trading for Bo Bichette

The Blue Jays seem to be interested in moving on from Bichette as he enters the last year of his deal in 2025 and the Giants could benefit from a shortstop that could also produce at the plate.
Surveying potential trade acquisitions, San Francisco will likely be giving the Toronto Blue Jays a call about Bo Bichette's availability. Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer linked Bichette to the Giants in a new report on Friday.

«This is another case where no speculation is necessary, and that is again thanks to reporting from Bob Nightengale of USA Today.» - Keane

The Blue Jays are reportedly interested in listening to offers this winter for Bichette as they have done over the last couple off-seasons despite the timing not being great for the Blue Jays since Bichette is coming off a rough season. however, the Giants are not the only the only team interested as according to reports the Dodgers and Braves are very interested as well.
«He wrote in August that the Blue Jays are "expected to entertain trade offers" for Bo Bichette, who "has no plans" to stay as a free agent after the 2025 season. Indeed, he may have signaled as much by only selling out his arbitration years with his current contract.»
«Potential fits: Atlanta, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers.»

It will be interesting to see what Ross Atkins ends up doing with Bo Bichette this off-season.
