Toronto Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins stated earlier this off-season that Bo Bichette would be returning for the 2025 but a few rival MLB executive seems to believe that isn't the story.

Bichette was surrounded by trade rumors at the beginning of the off-season as he was coming off a rough year in 2024 and many believed that the Blue Jays would trade him since they did not have any plans of re-signing him after 2025.

During the annual GM meetings, Ross Atkins told reporters that he has no plan on trading Bo Bichette and that he sees him as part of the team in 2025 but did not comment on if they would re-sign him after that.
However, MLB insider Ken Rosenthal announced in an article this morning that he has heard from multiple rival MLB executives that the Blue Jays are listening to offers on Bichette but are not actively shopping him.
Executives from three rival teams told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal that the Blue Jays aren't shopping the 26-year-old infielder but are open to dealing him for a high price.

Ken Rosenthal with a late night Blue Jays bomb. Holy smokes.
If the Blue Jays were to trade Bichette, they would have to look into signing a third baseman such as Alex Bregman so that they can move Ernie Clement over the second base to replace Bichette.
"As presently constituted, the Jays would line up with Giménez at second, Bichette at short and Ernie Clement at third. If they traded Bichette and signed Bregman, they could go with Bregman at third, Giménez at short and Clement at second. But numerous other possibilities exist.

The Jays could sign free-agent right-hander Corbin Burnes and trade either Chris Bassitt or Kevin Gausman. They also could sign Anthony Santander or Teoscar Hernández for their outfield, one of their greatest areas of need.

Signing Guerrero should be the priority. Signing Guerrero would be a start."
Despite having a bad season in 2024 filled with injuries, the Blue Jays could still get a solid return for Bichette that could help the team bring in the offensive threat they have been looking for in free agency.
