After being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the sixth round of the 2018 MLB Draft, #6 MLB Prospect Addison Barger made his long-awaited major-league debut became a reality on Wednesday night.

Hailing from Bellevue, Washington, the 24-year-old has diligently progressed through the Blue Jays' farm system over the past seven seasons, showcasing his skills at every level of competition along the journey.
Age: 24
Position: Third base/Outfield
Swings: Left | Throws: Right
Height: Six-foot | Weight: 210 lbs.
2024 Stats (triple-A): AVG: .314 | 3 HR | 21 RBI | .435 OBP | .586 SLG

In his time at triple-A Buffalo this season, Barger boasts a top exit velocity of 111.8 m.p.h. and an average exit velocity of 90.6 m.p.h., both of which would rank second among the Blue Jays.
During his debut, Barger demonstrated his power by hitting a ball at 105.3 m.p.h. and sending it 397 feet, though it was caught in the vast outfield at Kauffman Stadium.
After his debut he told a reporter that:
"I'm aggressive. I take hacks. It's just the nature of me"

He showed flashes of potential in his MLB debut. Coming into the game he has an expected batting average of .355.
With his big swings and strong arm, he has defensive utility that the jays love. Like many current members of the Blue Jays, Barger has the ability to line up all over the diamond.
