During Tuesday night's loss to the KC Royals, Kiermaier departed the game in the sixth inning and was substituted in the lineup by Cavan Biggio.
Daulton Varsho took over Kiermaier's position in center field. Kiermaier's performance in the game was 0-for-2 with a sacrifice bunt.
At 34 years old, Kiermaier, who celebrated his birthday just this past Monday, currently holds a batting average of .193 with only five runs scored. Over his career, he boasts a .249 batting average with 90 home runs and 128 stolen bases, alongside being a four-time recipient of the Gold Glove award.

We hope KK gets back soon.
