Hurricane Milton created a ton of damage in the stated of Florida last month and as the majority of the population, the Rays were affected by the Hurricane as their home stadium of Tropicana Field was ripped apart.
This might be the first post-hurricane video we've seen from someone inside Tropicana Field
Insider Jim Bowden believes the Rays will be playing out of the Toronto Blue Jays training complex to start the 2025 season
Bowden recently spoke of the Rays current situation as they are still looking for a home stadium for the 2025 season as Tropicana Field is in no state to host any baseball games for the next little while.
"The Rays start the season playing in the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Dunedin, Fla., staying until a fix is in place for the Tropicana Field roof to make the ballpark playable again," Bowden writes.
The Rays still have a lot of work ahead of them in terms of a plan of figuring out where to play next season on top of free agency about to start but reports announced that commissioner Rob Manfred expects a plan from the team before Christmas.
We will see how all of this plays out in the weeks and months ahead. Officials are still trying to exactly assess the scale of damage to the Trop; MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred wants to see a plan by the start of Christmas. What seems certain is that the Trop definitely won't be ready to host baseball games in late March/early April. -Gueren
