At this point of the MLB season for the Toronto Blue Jays, there is not a lot to cheer for as they have been mathematically eliminated from the 2024 post-season, but Jose Berrios' performances on the mound are getting fans excited for 2025.
Since the All-Star break, Jose Berrios has been virtually unhittable and has given the Bleu Jays every chance to win ball games. As it stands right now, in the second half of the season, he leads the entire AL in wins with 8, he ranks 3rd in ERA with a 2.30, ranks 5th in WHIP (Walk/Hits per innings pitched) and has a ridiculous opponent batting average of .208.
Needless to say, he is having an outrages 2nd half to the season.

Usually pitchers pitch every 5 days, that is the standard, and with him pitching only Friday, he is not slotted in to pitch any of the remaining Jays games, but he should. He has a career record of 99-76, and with just one win, he will reach a major milestone in getting his 100th career win. As it stands right now, all the remaining pitchers to start those games are listed as "to be determined", meaning there is a chance that he is able to go for it this season, and we think he should get that chance.
Obviously if you have been a fan of the Blue Jays or have watched them since the All-Star break, you know how dominant he has been on the mount for the Jays, but it is nice to finally see him getting the recognition he deserves.
What do you think? Should the Blue Jays give him the chance to get his 100th career win the season?
