With the history of bad drafts, lack of trades and acquisitions, the time to fire Ross Atkins is now before it is too late.
According to MLB Analytics, Atkins has failed miserably in the last 8 drafts. In a more shocking stat, only 2 players he has drafted in the last near decade have played 162 games or more in the MLB.
The perfect time to fire Atkins is now. Do we really want this bum running a firesale? The guy has failed at 8 consecutive drafts. Fun fact, only 2 players drafted by Ross Atkins since 2016 have played more than 162 games in their career. Do we want that running the deadline?
There should be no other reason not to fire him after the disappointed offseason he conducted for the Blue Jays. He basically only signed Justin Turner, who is hitting 235/.327/.366 with a below average .693 OPS.
Do the Blue Jays really want this guy calling the shots for the rest of the year?
