Yesterday marked 13 years since the tragic passing on former MLB all-star and Blue Jays pitcher.

Flanagan was found deceased in his home after it was revealed that he dealt with severe mental health issues. His wife mentioned how he was dealing with financial troubles mixed with mental health problems that led to this heartbreaking out come.
Please take a moment to remember former Toronto Blue Jays left-hander Mike Flanagan who died 13 years ago today at the age of 59.

His story still breaks my heart.

I wish someone could've helped him.

MLB players are often seen as these incredible figures but it is important for fans to remember that they are only human.
This is also a great reminder to reach out to someone if you or someone you know is dealing with mental health problems.
