Ernie Clement issues message to fans following recent situation

Blue Jays third baseman Ernie Clement has had a season filled with up and downs and after another great game yesterday, he sat down to speak of his mentality regarding the season.
Clement started off the season very slow to a point where fans wondered if he would get sent back down as he was barely playing. Since the All-Star break, Clement has been continuously getting better and has become a go-to starter for the Blue Jays now.
In his interview with Keegan Matheson yesterday, Clement spoke of his season and how much his game has changed throughout its course.
«This helps a lot. I've been on both sides of it,» Clement said. «I've been on the side where you play once a week, but you still have to go in and do your job. You've still got to keep your foot on the gas, obviously. I can do a lot more out there now, I think. I can work the count. I can still be aggressive when I need to. I feel a lot more comfortable, defensively and offensively. It's different for me, but I'm really enjoying it.»
While no one would consider Clement one of the Jays best players, he has proven this season that he belong in the majors and at only 27 years old, he likely has a solid future in the MLB ahead of him.
