The Toronto Blue Jays plan on competing next season which means they will need some big changes in their bullpen which is why bringing in Devin William from Milwaukee could be a great move.

The Milwaukee Brewers just held their end of the year press conference in which general manager Matt Arnold stated that the team is open minded to moving relief pitcher Devin Williams. The Brewers are currently in a tough situation regarding their current salary which means they will be forced to move players this off-season.
Brewers general manager Matt Arnold held a press conference today on the heels of the club being eliminated from the playoffs last week. Arguably the most notable thing he said was in relation to closer Devin Williams. «We have to stay open-minded,» Arnold said, per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com on X. «We're the smallest market in the league, so that's something that's required in this.»

Williams is headed into the last year of his contract before he becomes a free agent and since the Brewers will likely not have the money to sign him in the 2025 off-season, it looks like fans could see a trade happening in the near future.
The Blue Jays would be a great landing for Williams as he would be exactly what they are looking for when it comes to improving their bullpen for next season and would definitely have the money to offer him an extension as well.
Despite Ross Atkins stating that he wants to stay around the same payroll for the 2025 season, if the opportunities are there to go an land all-star caliber players, it would be foolish of him to turn it down.
