Legendary Toronto Blue Jays former manager Cito Gaston is officially back in Toronto but not with the Blue Jays as he has signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League.

Gatson is a legend in Toronto as he led the Toronto Blue Jays in back to back World Series in 1992 and 1993 which ii why he is regarded as the best manager in Blue Jays history. He also took on a role in more recent years as an advisor but left in 2015 when Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro took over.
Gaston hasn't managed in a decade and a half, since he was brought back by the Blue Jays for three seasons between 2008 and 2010. But he was a special adviser to the team when president Paul Beeston was in charge until 2015, when Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins took over. -Colley

In 2018, the Blue Jays apparently offered to bring Gatson back into the fold as an advisor but he decided not to as he stated he did not see there vision and would rather play golf.
«I didn't feel that I wanted to do what they wanted me to do,» Gaston told the Star. «I just said, I'll just go play golf.»

the legendary Blue Jays manager is now officially back in Toronto but not to help the Blue Jays, he has been signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League.
Keith Stein the CEO of the Leafs mentioned that he was surprised that the Blue Jays have not reached out once again in recent years but stated that he is not complaining since he know gets to pick at an incredible baseball mind.
