Blue Jays top prospect Arjun Nimmala is making sure no one forgets his name

Drafted 20th overall, Nimmala was a major risk taking so high as he was just 17 years old at the time of the draft. He was raw, undersized and was a long way from making it to the Major Leagues. But just a little over a year after being taken, he is proving to everyone that his future is extremely bright.

After struggling at the start of the year for the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays, many thought he was too young to make it, but he is showing in the second half that he is ready to move up to Double-A. Since June 27th, Nimmala is hitting .265/.331/.564 with 13 home runs in 53 games. Even for his size, his light tower power, speed and defense are considered his best tools, and he is showing it everynight.

Even Major MLB superstars like Francisco Lindor are even taking notice of his raw talent.

At the end of the day, he will still have to prove himself at every level but he is making sure right now that he is doing the msot he can in Single-A.
