Yankees right fielder Juan Soto is set to become a free agent this summer and yesterday he spoke to reporters regarding the situation making a major statement.
Soto told reporters he does necessarily plan on re-signing with the Yankees and is not closing the door on anybody, meaning he is willing to listen to offers from every team.
Juan Soto is open to any team that wants to bid on him this offseason
The right fielder will surely have all kinds of offers this off-season as he is having a great year with the Yankees with 14 homeruns, 64 hits, .309 batting average and a .407 on base percentage.
Even though most Jays fans do not want to have too much hope after the Ohtani situation last summer, landing Soto would be an incredible move for the team moving forward.
