Blue Jays' rising star Addison Barger crushes the competition with unbelievable bat speed
Toronto Blue Jays' rising star Addison Barger forced an error with his unbelievable bat speed today that is ranked in the 100th percentile in all of the MLB.
In his last at-bat against the Atlanta Braves last night, Barger generated a bat speed of 82.7 MPH which is the highest of the Blue Jays this season and resulted in an error. To give you some context, Giancarlo Stanton averages 81 MPH and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has never swung a bat that fast.
