The Blue Jays announced yesterday that they have optioned pitcher Bowden Francis down to Triple-A.

Francis has been sent down to Buffalo after struggling lately while Brandon Eisert has been called up to the Majors.
#BlueJays announce they've optioned Bowden Francis to Triple-A and recalled Brandon Eisert.

This is not good for Francis who has failed to find his groove this season as he has pitched wildly inconsistently and has now lost his spot in the MLB for the time being.
